We use a typically Yorkshire, no nonsense straight talking approach to buying and selling boats. We’ve grown our business over the years in a relaxed but professional environment, you won’t find any high pressure sales tactics with us. This philosophy has allowed us to build a great deal of trust with our customers, some of which are now on their 3rd or 4th boat.
Some of our customers travel great distances to view our boats with a few even flying over from Europe. When making such an effort its important to know that you are dealing with people who are reliable and will give you an honest opinion of a vessels true condition. Similarly if you are selling a boat we will give an honest appraisal and a realistic expectation of what we think we can sell it for.
There are a lot of flash websites out there with many brokers operating from their mobile phones and car boots. Our marina has been well established now for over 40 years, we have a professional office and team of staff and we own the entire site. Because of this our reputation and integrity means everything to us which is why looking after you is of paramount importance.
Because we are a small team you’ll get a one on one service from start to finish taking you through the whole buying and selling process.
Both Phil (pictured left) and Richard (pictured right) have dealt with many clients from all over the country and have sold hundreds of boats between them. They are both from Yorkshire and live locally to the marina.
Richard (pictured right) took over the brokerage in early 2007. He was responsible for modernising the companies marketing, increasing sales and modernising our procedures & customer service.
Phil (pictured left) joined in 2009. Phil is an ex super yacht skipper from the med and has over 30 years experience in the business. Phil has helped Richard further develop the business in to what it is today.
